Gruss Euch, meine Mitglieder,
First, I'd like to offer our great appreciation for Leo and Elizabeth
Steinberger for hosting their first pool party. All I can say is, I hope
they will host many, many more! The setting was wonderfully
intimate, the turnout was great, and the conversation flowed
freely. The water was cool and refreshing, and their home worked
perfectly with the outdoor/indoor arrangement. As always, the food
was par excellence - kudos to Leo for scrumptous sausages! Add the
unexpected appearance of the Prast family with a club favorite, "Die
Sacher" torte, and you have the perfect party.
Apropos Herr Prast, due to some unfortunate scheduling on our part,
we had to move Schnitzelfest one week earlier. It is now scheduled
for September 21, at 4:00 p.m., and we hope this will not
inconvenience anyone.
We will send a reminder with more details, including specific food
requests from Heinz.
