at the home of Rick & Lin Grunbaum
Gruss Euch Alle, meine Lieben,
Old man winter threw a monkey wrench into our plans for the St.
Nikolaus and Krampus Feier, but I'm happy to report that they plan to
see the children at our annual Christmas Party, on Sunday, December
22, at 4:00 p.m. It goes without saying that we were very sad to
cancel the warm gathering at Marianne Hassenhutl's home. Next year
will be all the better! Gulasch and Semmelknödel preparation has been
rescheduled for the Faschings Party after the first of the year.
Parents, please remember to bring your note for St. Nikolaus! Likewise,
for all of you who were originally planning to attend the St. Nikolaus
and Krampus Feier, you can just bring the same dish you signed up for
if you want. Everyone, please call Heidi and let her know ASAP if you
are attending, and if needed, let her know what you are bringing. We
especially need a count of children who will attend, so St. Nikolaus and
Krampus can be well-prepared.
Lin will be organizing the Christmas program once again, so don't be
surprised if she gives you a call. We'll keep it a little shorter this year,
since it will be a busy night!
We are glad to report that our wonderful chef, Heinz Prast, will make
Venison Ragout as our main dish, and Lin will prepare Nockerln. There
will be plenty of Gluhwein on hand, along with all the regular drinks and
libations.
Here's the plan for the evening:
Party begins at 4:00 - Please note that we will start one hour earlier
than usual!
At 4:30 St. Nikolaus & Krampus arrive
After their visit - dinner
After dinner - our Christmas program
After the program - dessert!!
Having you all here in our home at Christmas is one of the highlights of
our year. We look forward to seeing you and greeting you with a big
warm hug!
Servus,
Emmerich
