Gruss Euch Alle, meine Lieben!
It was wonderful to have you all here at our house for the
Schnitzelfest. Schnitzelmeister Heinz Prast and his trusty assistant,
Robby Weber, did a fabulous job with the Schnitzel, and you all outdid
yourselves with all those delectable Austrian dishes you brought as well!
It is once again time to celebrate our Austrian Independence Day. Leo
suggested an Austrian restaurant in Rowlett called Fritzl's. Yasmine ate
at Fritzl's when it was still in Richardson, and reports good food and a
very friendly owner. She really enjoyed the experience, so she gave
Fritzl's a call. Because the restaurant is small, the owner suggested
that we move the event to Thursday, October 24. He'll even close the
restaurant for us if enough people sign up for the event.
The restaurant is about a mile west of President George Bush Turnpike,
on Lakeview Parkway (also known as Highway 66), so it's very easy to
find. You can check out the menu on their website.
Please call Heidi with your reservation by Monday, October 21, so we
can give Fritzl's a headcount. We look forward to seeing you there.
Servus,
Emmerich
