On Sunday, 2.17. starting at 5:30 pm, we will get together for our famous Gulaschfest contest at the Katzer's home. This event is so much fun and it’s always a great experience to taste all the different types of Gulasch. Everyone can enter their best Gulasch, 2 lbs minimum each, and Heinz and the public will vote for the most delicious one. In addition, since we are in the Faschingszeit, please feel free to dress up! Also, we will have our annual membership meeting during this event. As always, the club will provide libations, and you can either enter the Gulasch contest or provide a tasty side dish or dessert. #gulasch #faschings #gulaschfest #faschingszeit
2018 Weichnachtsfeier - A Great Success!
Wow, what a wonderful Weihnachtsfeier we had at the Grünbaum's! The program was outstanding! Much organization and many, many hours of practicing contributed to an amazing time. We sang, listened to Christmas poems and ate way too much delicious food and Mehlspeisen! Such good food and Mehlspeisen -as every year Heinz' ragout was perfect paired with Spätzle. And this year we had a special treat offered by my mother,Hannerl,who baked a variety of wonderful traditional Austrian Mehlspeisen. #weichnachtsfeier #austrian #food
