The Gulasch Fest was a big success - so many yummy tasting entries. The winner
of the Hofrat Löffel by the Membership choice was awarded to our beloved
president Yasmine, and Leo was awarded the winning medal by our own Chef
Heinz Prast. As every year, the Katzer's party was so much fun. It is not one of the
bigger parties - so you get to talk to everyone. Lots of good food and good
conversations. Nice to see the kids grow up into teenager and watch them enjoy
hanging out with their AUSTRIAN CLUB Buddies. We had a membership
meeting there as every year and Robby asked to have the membership paid with
check if possible so the club does not have any additional costs.
This brings me to our upcoming event next week, Sunday 4.29.18 at 4:00 P.M.
where Heinz Prast along with his young sous chefs, will once again prepare lots of
Wiener Schnitzel for us. What an honor to have Heinz in our Club and him taking
the time and effort to prepare and cook all of these for us! Not only is he doing all
of that, him and Beverly are also opening their home to us to host one of our larger
events there. Thank you so very much!
As always, the club will provide libations, and you will provide tasty side dishes or
desserts. Please remember that this is a large event and we will prepare larger
