Liebe Freunde,
For the first time, the Christmas party was at the Grünbaum's new home and it was
such a great success. Wonderful memories were made at the Avalon home, but
we're making great new ones at their new one. The program was perfect – Rudy,
Lin and Kathy put in many hours of practicing for us and we had an amazing time.
We sang, listened to Christmas poems and ate way too much delicious food! Such
good food - as every year Heinz' ragout was perfect together with
Semmelnknödeln and Rotkraut. Krampus and Nikolaus made their appearance and
treated the kids to some goodies.
Next month, on Sunday, 3.4. starting at 530pm, we will get together for our famous
Gulaschfest/contest at the Katzer's home. Since Fasching was so early, we decided
to make it all about the Gulasch contest which has become one very fun and loved
event. Everyone can enter their best Gulasch, 2 lbs min. each, and Heinz and the
public will vote for the most delicious one. In addition, we will have our annual
membership meeting during this event.
As always, the club will provide libations, and you will be part of the Gulasch
contest or provide a tasty side dishes or desserts. Please RSVP using Sign-Up
