First, we had another charming event at our favorite Faschings locale, the Katzers'. As always, they were wonderful hosts, and once again, Wolfgang won the Gulasch Hofrat Löffel! Costumes were fun, the food was excellent and the company outstanding.
On to our next event, the Spring Scavenger Hunt! Last year, the kids had a great time making Palatschinken under the tutelage of Robby Weber, and the result was delicious. I can't wait for a repeat performance, in their beautiful backyard nature preserve.
The club will provide spiral-cut ham and libations. As usual, please call Heidi at 972-849-8227 to let her know whether or not you are attending, and what succulent dish you will bring. Be sure to call her by Sunday, April 17 - it will save her a lot of work!
An event update: the Stammtisch that was originally scheduled for March 17 has been moved to May 11, 7:00 p.m. at the Bavarian Grill in Plano.
Kids, get ready for the annual Spring Scavenger Hunt. There will be lots of fun and prizes! Adults, be sure to bring enough camping or folding chairs for your family for this event! We need a volunteer to manage the Scavenger Hunt this year. Please give Yasmine a call.
ANNUAL MEETING REPORT
At the Annual Membership meeting, the club adopted updated by-laws with a unanimous vote. President Yasmine Daughtery reported that the club is healthy and that events last year were successful, and Treasurer Robby Weber reported that club finances are in good shape.
